As far back as 1998 – at the beginning of his career as a patent attorney – Joachim worked together with Prof. Livotov (today at Offenburg University / Consultant for TRIS Europe) on initial projects applying TRIZ in industry and played a key role in founding the European TRIZ Association (ETRIA).
