On Friday, November 7, Meissner Bolte took part in the “Women in Technology” online career event hosted by e-fellows.net. The event aimed to connect talented young professionals with leading employers in the fields of technology and innovation – and we were proud to be part of it.
Our colleagues Patent Attorney Susanne Köhler-Pfohl, Attorney at Law Nicole Vossius, and Patent Engineer Sarah Schwarz kicked off the session by introducing themselves and their roles as patent attorneys and patent engineers. They then presented Meissner Bolte as an employer and highlighted the diverse career paths available within our firm.
A highlight of the event was the specialist talk by Susanne Köhler-Pfohl, who shared a personal and practical view of the patent attorney profession. She outlined the diverse paths that can lead to this career, illustrated how individual focus areas shape the work, and used a real-life example to show how a protection rights portfolio can be strategically developed – offering an authentic glimpse into the exciting opportunities this field holds, especially for women with a technical or scientific background.
During the networking session, we held 12 individual meetings with interested candidates. Our HR expert Kathrin Mühlstein supported the conversations by answering questions about entry opportunities, application processes, and career development at Meissner Bolte.
We are delighted to already be receiving the first applications – a clear sign of the strong interest and motivation among the participants.
Our conclusion: An inspiring day filled with valuable conversations, exciting perspectives, and highly motivated talent. We sincerely thank e-fellows for organizing the event and look forward to future collaborations!
