Data and IT Security – Our Commitments

The security of the data you entrust to our firm is of paramount concern for all of us at Meissner Bolte. Ensuring the integrity of our IT system as well as the internal and business information which we store is, however, an ever-evolving challenge. As all businesses connected to the internet face the possibility of a cyberattack, we aim to meet these issues head-on. We take our responsibilities to you very seriously and are continually updating and tailoring our IT security and data-handling processes to anticipate and meet each potential new threat thereby ensuring that we are already secured against the next attempted hack.

Prepared and Ahead of the Game:

There are many possible points of vulnerability in an IT system, and our policies ensure that each one is as secure as we can make it:

  • We perform biannual security checks via external partners who stress our IT system to locate, assess and fix any points of weakness across the whole of our network
  • We employ “sand-boxing” to all of our emails and attachments: screening emails and opening attachments in a separate and secure environment. Suspicious emails and attachments are individually reviewed by our IT administrators before being either deleted, quarantined or allowed to pass
  • We have regular, external training of all personnel regarding IT and data security. This professional training confers on all members of staff the required knowledge and awareness of their legal obligations on data processing and security, it also ensures that they are constantly reminded to stay vigilant about possible cyber-attacks.

Cyber Security rating:

The latest external checks performed on our system at the end of December 2025, by our external partners: PingCastle (https://www.pingcastle.com/) attest to Meissner Bolte having a resilient IT network; rest assured, we shall be regularly testing and improving our system to maintain this security level.
