IP Days 2022

The Whole Bucket

Kay Rupprecht, LL.M.

After a 2 year hiatus due to the COVID pandemic, this year it is again time to say "O’zapft is" as Munich opens again its so-called “5th season” – that of the Oktoberfest!

We are delighted to invite you to Meissner Bolte’s IP-Days Seminar in Munich, which will begin at 11:30am on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.

This year’s IP-Days will be held in person, but we are also adding virtual participation for all those who will not be able to attend in Munich: the Meissner Bolte IP Days 2022 will thus be our first “Hybrid IP Days”.

As may be expected at the brink of the new Unitary Patent and Unified Court system, our patent programme will certainly focus on the Unified Patent Court. We shall also discuss in detail Standard Essential Patents and FRAND problems, and will provide valuable industry insight and experiences concerning German “automatic injunctions” now that the respective laws have been changed. Perhaps most interestingly, we will find out whether there are any perceivable changes at all! We are very delighted to be hosting Judges and other experts from the UK, Germany and China.

During our programme, we shall be covering the new developments and legal aspects of, and providing practical advice on, Designs and Trademarks, including a contemplation of the post-BREXIT opportunities to create effective trademark and design protection in both the EU and the UK.

For participants of the IP-Days, we have once again reserved, on September 29, 2022, a sufficient number of seats in one of the Oktoberfest’s most renowned beer tents: THE HAXNBRATEREI. We recommend that you book early, as registrations will be accepted in strict chronological order.
