Prof. Dr Dr Uwe Fitzner is a board member of the German Patent Attorney Chamber, responsible for professional regulations and training matters, and has been offering exam preparation courses for the German patent attorney examination since 1987. He has also served as an examiner for the patent attorneys' assessor examination since 1994. As an honorary professor in the Faculty of Law at the FernUniversität in Hagen, he designs and leads degree programmes in intellectual property law and is a member of the relevant examination boards.
