Dr. Eugen Popp LL.M. has been working as a German Patent Attorney as well as a European Patent Attorney for more than 40 years, with experience in all fields of intellectual property law, i.e. trademark law, design law, competition law and especially patent law. In recent years, he has increasingly been involved as a consultant and contributing representative in patent infringement matters.

As a long-time Vice President and President of the German Patent Attorneys’ Bar Association and as a co-founder of EPLIT (=European Patent Litigators Association; see : www.eplit.eu), Eugen Popp has international experience, in particular also in the field of the Unified Patent Court Agreement, which will come into force at the beginning of 2023, and in the establishment of which Eugen Popp has been significantly involved from the very beginning, both factually and politically, in cooperation with the European Commission. In this respect, he is an insider and has always kept Meissner Bolte abreast of developments over the years.
