Following her studies, Daniela Pfab initially spent several years working as a research associate at the Fraunhofer Institute for Machine Tools and Forming Technology (IWU), and subsequently spent several more years at a medium-sized industrial company, where she worked in research and development within the fields of plant engineering, automation technology, and laser technology.
